3 opposition parties to submit no-confidence motion against Cabinet

Japan's
three opposition parties are planning to submit a no confidence motion against
the cabinet of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, saying it is responsible for such
issues as pension contribution records.

Secretaries-general of the largest opposition Democratic Party, Social
Democratic Party and People's New Party will hold a meeting as early as
Tuesday.

In the meeting they are to discuss the timing to submit the no confidence
motion against Mr Abe's cabinet. They are also to confirm rejecting the ruling
coalition's plan to extend the current parliament session.

The opposition parties say they will strengthen their offensive against the
ruling coalition, heading to the Upper House election.
